Throughout my career as a polar explorer, I've been lucky enough to be able to see beautiful landscapes, meet incredible people and live extraordinary adventures.
I've tried to capture these moments on film (in some cases I've been accompanied by a professional photographer) and I'd like to share some of these with you. Enjoy!

January 1st 2001 : that's it, the south pilar of the Holtanna is conquered. After this victory, some members of the expedition have to leave Antarctica. Meanwhile, Hubert and the rest of his companions carry on exploring the Orvin Mountains Range. They are completely fascinated. See the photos you'll understand...

Expedition South Through the Pole 1997-98 (part 1/3)

On November 4th 1997, Alain Hubert and Dixie Dansercoer left the former Belgian scientific base of King Baudouin located on the north coast of Antarctica to set off for an entire crossing of the 6th Continent towards SP and McMurdo, without resupply. Thye were amongst the firsts explorers to use the new technique of the parafoil.
