Every now and then, people ask me to give a talk or lecture at their conference or event, which I usually agree to do. I often address issuess such as climate change, the Polar Regions, sustainable developement and other related topics.
Over time, the demand has grown to a point where I am no longer able to say "yes" to everyone, even if I try to fit in as many as possible!
I want to testify today about what I believe is a planetary emergency - a crisis that threatens the survival of our civilization and the habitability of the Earth.

Handing over Cryosat Data

During the Arctic Arc Expedition, measurments of the snow depth were done regularily along the way to for the ESA Cryosat mission. The collected data were handed over to Richard Francis ESA's Project Manager for CryoSat during a presentation held at ESA-ESTEC in the Netherlands.
